Character Animator

New York based animation company are searching for an enthusiastic Character Animator to join our UK-based office. We specialize in the development and production of pre-school television, both live action and animation.

The role of Character Animator will be to animate characters in our studio

based in South-east London. You must be have strong organizational skills,

and be able to work to strict deadlines, with a flexible attitude to working

hours.

The successful candidate will be passionate about and experienced in

children¹s television and production. You will be enthusiastic, outgoing,

friendly and positive.

Duties and responsibilities of the position:

- Animate lovely young bird characters in After Effects as directed and

revise scenes as requested by Producer.

- Work to strict production deadlines.

- Utilize provided reusable animation as much as possible to maximize

time efficiency.

Essential requirements of qualifications and experience:

- Experience in character animation, as demonstrated in the form of a

showreel.

- Experience with Adobe After Effects.

A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant dependent

upon experience. This is a full-time contract position, with the

possibility of renewal upon completion of the contract.
